I am a sixteen year old girl, 4′11, and I weigh 104 pounds.

I eat anywhere between 850-1100 calories a day, and I exercise 5 days a week, an hour each time. its usually running on an elliptical machine, but if not, then its some form of cardio.

how long will it take me to lose 15 pounds?

I eat very healthy, no sodas, no fast foods, an occasional piece of candy. and I drink at least 6 glasses of water a day

When losing weight ( any amount ) … please keep in mind that the safest way to lose it is 1-3 lbs a week. Anymore than that and it can cause health risks ( unless advised by a doctor ) and as well as having a higher risk for the weight to come back on.

im a wrestler and i need to lose 15 pounds by tomorrow?

Yeah! Wreslting! Im a wrestler too. Im guessing you’re trying to go meet the max for a weight class or maybe even drop a weight class? Aint gonna happen bro…Most ive ever lost in 1 day was 7 pounds (I had practice, ran a whole bunch, and then hit the weights). Best advice I could give you is to do what I did, which I previously mentioned. Aint gonna stay off though. Itll all pretty much be water, so you should gain it back the next day.

I am looking to lose 15 pounds in 5 weeks to look great in this dress I bought for a formal. Any advice, tips, suggestions?
Also, I'm a vegetarian…

There are more tips and info.

1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.

2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.

3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.

4. Don't weigh yourself more than once a week

5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you'll lose inches before pounds

6. Avoid any type of "low carb" sweetener for the first two weeks

7. Don't compare your loss to someone else's - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)

8. Stalls are common around the third week so don't panic

9. If you follow your plan to the T and don't lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese,

mushrooms and any other fermented food

10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison

11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that

you're doing low carb and when you started

12. Don't blame the diet if you don't read your plan book — blame the diet if you don't read the labels — Don't blame

the diet if you don't follow the diet

I’m sixteen and I want to lose 15 pounds, maybe more. I run on an elliptical machine six times a week, for just twenty minutes each time. what are some things I should eat/ not eat, or some exercises that work well? Thanks!
Thanks Kristen! I think I'll do it 20 minutes i the morning and then twenty to thirty minutes at night.

When losing weight, you should follow the dual course: exercise and
diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger
appetite, which will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on) For targeting your problem areas, check up

I have a jiujitsu competition coming up in November 8th and I want to lose about 15 pounds before then. Does anyone have any methods to help me lose weight by then? Please help me out, thank you.
Yes I would like to do this, I just found out about the competition a few days ago and I am not very muscular so I thought dropping would only help.

Man… that’s real hard to do because you will get weak from all the work and less food. This is what you face: 15 pounds in four weeks is 3 3/4 pounds a week or 1,875 calories used up PER DAY! The average male needs about 2,400 calories per day to stay healthy. How are you gonna survive on about 525 calories per day for a month? If you cut off one arm it may be enough. Next time start reducing earlier. Sorry I don’t have any better news for you.
