Okay, well school gets back in in like 30 days, I weigh 160 and i am 6ft1, how to lose 15 pounds in 30 days?

And also how many push ups does it take to lose a pound, when i am eating healthy?

I’m 155 and 5′11. I have a belly and really want to get rid of it before school starts. I’ve been eating two health meals per day. One is a Special K bowl (110 calories) the other a weight watchers (about 350 calories). I also run 4 miles per day, and do 300 sit ups per day. Is this enough to lose 15 pounds before September 4?

It’s possible, but it’s not healthy at all. You are not eating enough food, and when you don’t eat enough food, you don’t just lose fat, you lose muscle. Your body starts eating away at the muscle and fat around your heart, organs, and brain. Living on a starvation diet is not worth it. You should have three balanced meals a day with snacks if you need them. You can do this and still lose weight, you just have to keep your calorie intake at an amount that will help you lose weight (I don’t know how old you are, so use an online calculator…but if you’re a teenager, keep in mind that you should eat more than what that calculator tells you because you are still growing). It is only healthy to lose 1-2 lbs a week, so it would be unwise to lose 15 in a month. Aim for 4-8 lbs.

I’m going on vacation in about 3 weeks and I want to shed about 15 more pounds so I can look good in my new bikini, does anyone have any advice on how to lose 15 pounds in 3 weeks? It would be a huge help!

I lost 15lbs in 3 weeks by running and cutting out all soda and replacing it with water. I couldn’t believe I did it. You can too. Best thing to do if you hate exercising like I do, is find a buddy to run with so you will be motivated and kinda competitive with him/her at the same time. Try to do more than him/her while running. I walk half, run half. You’ll get there, Good luck!

My daughter is going to be 14 in a few months and despreatly wants to lose 15 pounds in 3 weeks. PLEASE HELP!

it ain’t gonna be easy but if you’re serious about it here’s my suggested meal/exercise plan.

wake up at 7am

choose a breakfast from: bunch of grapes 2 wholemeal crackers, 1 small egg scrambled or boiled with half a slice of wholemeal toast, small bowl of muesli, slice of melon and small handful of dried fruit.

to drink: 2-4 pints of water. yes, it’s a lot, but it’s gonna help so stick to it the more water u drink the better

make sure u wait atleast 45 minutes after eating, so at about 8:30 you should be ready taking into account time to get ready first. she needs a good tracksuit and some trainers/sneakers.

run as much as possible, job occasionally and walk only when you physically can’t run anymore. do this until 12′o’clock midday.

lunch choose from: large bowl salad with no dressing/cheese/meat, slice wholemeal toast with humus spread thinly, muesli, small bowl of pasta with light tomato sauce.

to drink: as much water as possible, also try herbal teas these can help speed up metabolism.

just eat as little as possible and run/exercise as much as possible. simples [=

I need to lose 15 pounds. What is a good work out plan? I dont like organized sports so don’t suggest that I join a team.

It is possible to lose 15 pounds in a month? Or tone up enough to lose 3 pant sizes?
Just so I can have some more confidence before school?

Don’t eat much fruit while trying to lose weight. Fruit is suppose to slow that down.

Eat between 5 to 6 meals a day, being smaller ones, and of course healthy. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner should be the biggest meals. Just like cereal, or eggs or whatever, with vegetables. The other meals should be like healthy snacks.

Do strength training Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Do maybe chest, back, triceps on Monday, lowerbody on Wednesday, biceps, abs, and shoulders on Friday.

So, make sure you do cardio. Run, walk or ride a bike. 35 minutes or more, start with 3 days a week, and move up to 4 times when your able too.

I’m gussing you probably just want toning over muscle mass. When you do strength training do lighter weights with higher reps.

Don’t stop exercising and eating healthy just because school starts and you’ve reached your goal.

i am 13 and i am 15 pounds overweight. dance starts in month and i want to lose it by then. a list of foods that will help will be awesome. and other tips will really help. please help!

for the past 4weeks ive been dieting strictly.in the first 2 week i lost about a stone but then it started to slow down and wouldnt get any less. anyways ive since realised that my body went into starvation mode so everything i ate my body stored more fat from it because it didnt know when i would eat next. in the 4th week i realised that despire eating less than 400 calories a day id put on weight! now im trying to budge it up abit and eating about 700 calories, (which may still not be healthy but im taking it 1 step at a time.)
anyways if your finding it hard i would suggest using lipobind (its safe and you can pick it up from anywhere e.g. boots) It binds fat from foods so you end up taking in about 30% less fat.

Also switch foods. I try to snack on anything that has less than 100 calories. Boots Shapers crisps are amazing, they taste lovely and have about 65- 80 calories per pack. snack a jacks are yum aswel. also if you love chocolate have abit of dark chocolate to satisy your craving- try ‘eat natural products’ (dark chocolate and nuts) which you can get from sainsbury’s.
Finally, try to walk (ie. invested in a stepometer). basically you should aim for 7000-10000 steps a day. 10000 steps burn on average 500 calories. but if the weathers rubbish or you drive alot like me, invest in a stepper. i try and do about 2000-3000 in a day while watching tv.

School starts in a little over a month and I want to lose 15 pounds before I go back. I stopped drinking soda and I eat less and I’ve been doing sit ups every day for the past 10 days but I’ve only lost three pounds. I’m 145 pounds right now and want to weigh 130. So how can I lose the weight in a month?

It isn’t possible to lose that much in a month. Do what you are doing and add 30 minutes of cardio 6 days a week. Cut out , always check nutrition facts for enriched food and hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup. Don’t eat any food that has any of those in it. Result in eating natural foods, whole grains, whole wheat etc. Also, cut way back on saturated fats. Eat LOTS of fruits and veggies and cut burgers, chip, frys, out!

Hi I really want to lose some extra weight. I’m not fat I just have excess fat I want to get rid of. I’m 15, 5′7" about 140 pounds. I excercise about 30 min to an hour a day and I’m not sure how much I eat but less than 1500 cal. I prolly will play soccer and track this year which I haven’t done before so. How can I lose these 15 pounds? preferably before october!

Step 1
Eliminate all unhealthy foods from your diet. During a normal diet, you can "cheat" every now and then. When you’re trying to lose weight in a hurry, though, you cannot afford the occasional slip up. You must stop eating all junk-food snacks (potato chips, cookies, candy), processed foods and fast food. Halt your intake of soda, juices with too much sugar and alcoholic beverages (especially beer).

Step 2
Do cardiovascular exercise for 1 hour every day. Working up a sweat will burn calories to help you lose weight. There are a variety of different exercises you can perform. Jogging, riding a bike or swimming are all great ways to lose a few pounds. You may have trouble exercising for an hour straight. If that is the case, perform "cool down" exercises during that time. For example, if you’re jogging, jog for 15 minutes straight and then walk for 5 to 10 minutes. You can also break up the workout into two 30-minute intervals.

Step 3

Just as with eating fruit, drinking more water will make you feel full. This will, of course, keep you from going off your strict diet during those 3 weeks.

Step 5
Eat six healthy, small-portioned meals and snacks every day. When you eat more often, you force your body to digest that food and burn those calories. This will raise your metabolism, which will help you to lose weight more quickly. The key is to eat less overall food than you normally would. Cut your larger meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) down by one-third of your normal consumption. In between those meals, eat one serving of a fruit or vegetable without any additives (such as dip for carrots).

Step 6
Stand up more often. You burn more calories when you’re on your feet than when you’re sitting down or lounging on your couch. This is something you can do while at the office or at home watching television. Stand during your favorite 30-minute sitcom and, if you feel like it, shuffle your feet back and forth. You may feel silly at the time, but you’ll be very pleased when 3 weeks has passed and you’ve lost that extra weight.
