How can i lose 15 pounds during the holidays?

i am 5 feet tall and 130 pounds (15 pounds overweight) my parents tell me i am unhealthy (because i am) and that i should lose the weight before new years. this will be so tough with all the yummy holiday foods. please give me some tips i NEED to lose this weight. thanks!
my dad told me i need to lose it by new years, so i’m obeying him. don’t tell me it’s unhealthy or impossible i just need the tips. thanks

First of all, it would take you about ten weeks to lose 15 pounds on a strictly-followed regime. Secondly, why pick THE hardest time of the year to decide you NEED to lose weight, why not make your goal to maintain, then start actually cutting back on the crap and increasing your exercise AFTER the holidays?
Are you trying to punish yourself?
