I need a diet plan that will help me lose 15 pounds in 6 weeks. I’m 5′4” and weigh 130 pounds. I know that I need to eat healthy and burn more calories than I eat, but I want an actual plan that will guarantee that I lose 15 pounds in 6 weeks. Diets like the G.I. diet or anything that you guys have tried and has worked for you. Thanks!

Hmmm you won’t likely loose 15 pounds of fat it 6 weeks, anthough you can loose a combination of fat, muscle and water in that time. About 1 pound of fat per week is a good sustainable level. You can loose a little more in the short term, maybee 1.5 pounds a week, but as you are already only 130 pounds it will be nearly impossible to loose over 10% of your body weight in only 6 weeks in a healthy way. At 2.5 pounds of fat per week, you’re talking about nearly a 9,000 calorie deficit each week, or around 1200 - 1300 calories deficit per day. If you restrict your diet to 500 calories less than maintenance, and ran about 5 miles a day, that would do it, but it’s not sustainable over 6 weeks.
You can probably dehydrate your way there, but it will just dammage your metabolism in the longer run. Stick to the 1lb/week rule (or less), and you will end up better off.
