How do I lose 15 pounds in one month?

I am a female and im 12 going on 13. I am 5′ 7 and I weigh 140. I want to lose 15 pounds in a month before school starts. I’m moving back to a school I used to go to and I want to look completely different. I can’t go to the gym and it rains alot.

if you don’t mind running in the rain, jogging is a great idea.

One thing that works for me is: before I eat, I drink a large glass of water, then if I’m still hungry, I won’t eat as much as I would have.

also, fyi:

1 pound = 3500 calories.

If you burn more calories than you eat, you will lose weight.

ie, if you eat 2000 calories per day and burn 2500, you will lose 1 pound every week.

the average person burns 1500-2000 calories per day, just being alive.

powerwalking can burn 200-500 calories per hour.
exercise bike can burn 200-600 calories per hour.
swimming can burn 100-800 calories per hour.
jogging/running can burn 300-1200 calories per hour.

when trying to lose weight, very important to drink lots and lots of water ! ! !
You should drink at least 10 glasses per day, like 1 glass every hour !

This helps your body get rid of the fat when you are burning calories.

    Your young and normally kids get skinny as they grow , but if you wanna lose it weight fast find something to do at home as an exercise and you need to eat well ( fruits, vegetables, and lots of water), oh.. And don’t eat alot at night cuz that makes you fat because your body slows down while you sleep. And like I said find something to do at home if it rains a lot….. Gud luck! :)

    my husband weigh’s the same and is 5′9 and when he usually try’s to lose weight he eats cereal 3 times a day and not to much else except like a little fruit and tons and tons of water. it def works. but it don’t last long if your not working out… once you stop eating that way it usually goes back to normal… good luck

    you know that if kids ages 10-13 want to lose weight they SHOULD do this “trick” to lose weight…. I am having my 5th grade gradution in 2 MONTHS!!! I really want to lose weight before i graduate so I am going to use this. If I’m about 4ft. 10in. and I weigh 110 lbs then is that considered “fat”???? btw STILL GONNA USE THIS!!! Shouldve looked this up before I ate lunch!!!!!!!! xD
