how long will it take for a 13 year old 5'4 150 pound female to lose 15 pounds on this diet?

im 5'4 13 year old 150 pound female and i am planning to lose 15 pounds. how long will i take if i walk 30 minutes a day and eat no more than 1200 calories a day?

At your rate you burn an average of about 2100 calories a day.
For you, walking for 30mins burns about 100 calories, but it also boosts your metabolism.
You should not eat less than about 1200-1300 calories a day or your body will go into starvation mode and adapt to eating little. It will be hard to lose weight that way.
If you ate 1300 calories a day, and walked 30mins a day, you would burn about 4900 calories a week (about one and a half lbs)
If you kept this up for 11 weeks, you should lose 15 lbs.
Remember to eat healthy and keep your body nourished so you wont get sick though.

around 45 to 60 days….. practically…… turn the 30 min walk into brisk walk….. and split your meals into 5 or 6… good luck

There's too many variables there. Where do you walk? How fast? What's your normal daily activity level? Aside from calories, how much else do you consume (proteins for example)? The best way to lose weight is not to starve yourself, but rather to burn it off through high-activity exercise. Run until you can not any more, then walk the rest of the way. Of the calories you do eat, try to eat sugars rather than fats. Drink lots of water and then sit in a high temperature environment to sweat calories off. If you do that, it should be just over a month.

you're about just where i am 6 months ago and i was 15 O_o . you're entering the age of … puberty . it's necessary for you to eat right , not to lose Weight . this kind of beauty will bring you no more than sickness does . i would recommend eat 1500 calories per day with plentiful of milk , vegetable and meat . right amount of them , dont go overboard . 30 min exercise is ideal . you might not lose weight m but you'll gain height , which wont make you look fat anymore .you're just 13 , life is still long , dont toture youshelf for beauty . trust me , i have seen series of woman that ended up no where even though they're hotter than fire . yes im a little short but so what . i already got a gf .

Diet and exercise. Eat about 1325 calories per day, do one hour of cardio exercise most days of the week and strength training for about an hour every other day. Not only will those 15 pounds come off in about 3 months, but you will be toned and lose inches faster than the weight. There is no other safe and healthy way to do it.
