I’m usually a very active and healthy person, but I’ve gained 15 pounds on my medication. Though I’m on a new medication now, I still need to shed these pounds. I have been eating very healthy meals 3 times a day with 2 snacks in between and I am doing high intensity cardio for 30 minutes every other day. I’m 5’3 and currently weigh 130 pounds. If I keep this up, about how long will it take me to lose the pounds?
I’m taking my best guess and estimate in about 2-3 months but you’ll probably lose more. Because you’re doing it the right way, the healthy way, which brings long term results. You could increase your activity level and you could see results a little faster, but don’t decrease your food intake, currently your keeping a balance, your metabolism is probably going up and up, and the number on the scale will definitely go down, just make sure you don’t go up and down like a roller coaster, meaning that you really have to keep this up, not for a couple of days but for a good long while.
Remember to keep hydrated, and to keep moving even after you lose the weight.
Best of luck.
