How long will it take to lose 15 pounds?

I have a healthy diet and with all my daily activities plus spending and hour at the gym, I am burning about 700 extra calories then I am taking in. How long will it take to lose 15 pounds??

If you burn 500 more calories a day then you consume then you burn 1 pound worth of calories/fat. And one pound a week puts you at about 15 weeks. Since you’re burning a little more, it will probably take a little less time, maybe 8-10 weeks? So about 2 months. Good luck! be healthy :)

    you are burning approximately 1 lb of weight every 5 days so it’ll take a couple of months but you should also lose a little water weight at first too

    remember it’s just math! 3500 is one lb of fat. so.. you’ll lose about 1.5 lbs a week. safely, you can lose 15 lbs in about 8-12 weeks. good luck :)

    There are 3500 calories in one pound of fat. So as long as you are diligent and burn an average of 700 calories per day in excess of what you need to maintain your weight you should lose 15 lbs in about 10-11 weeks.

    3500 calories x 15 lbs = 52,500 calories
    52500 calories / 700 calories per day = 75 days / 7 days in a week = 10.7 weeks.

    Just stick with it and the weight will come off. Try not to lose more than 2lbs per week as you increase your chances of losing lean tissue and will have a harder time keeping the weight off.
