I just read a little article online giving tips on how to lose weight in 2 weeks.
It seems kind of fast to me. That’s over a pound a day. What do you think? I think maybe 3 pounds a week is a healthy way to lose weight. Or 5 if you wanted to lose weight quickly.
I want to lose 15 pounds and I’m looking for all the help/advice out there!
I think it’s a little bit of a challenge to lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks. I agree with what you said earlier about losing around 3 pounds a week. Just stick to 3-5 pounds a week to be safe. You wouldn’t want to lose a lot of weight too fast, that can be dangerous.

Generally, you want to lose a max of 1-2 pounds a week, more will have unhealthy side effects.

It’s called marketing. Losing 15 pounds in 2 weeks isn’t physically possible. Unless like…you’re stranded on a desert island..and it’s really hot..like..REALLY hot…and you excersice all day…

While you may not lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks it is possible to lose some weight in that time. diet and exercise are ESSENTIAL to make this happen! Stock up on fruits and vegetables– those have very few calories and DO taste good!
Drink water instead of soda or juice. Try to eat whole wheat and potatoes. Those will keep your hunger at bay and not make you crave foods. Oh! But if you DO find yourself craving foods, have a small portion of it, don’t try to avoid it completely, because the craving will only get stronger. make sure to pay attention to portion sizes too. it helps if you portion it out into a bowl that way you don’t find your self eating too much at once. or even portion out your snacks a week in advance so you don’t over eat. also you could record what you eat in a journal. calculate the total number of calories you eat per day and determine if there is any junk you can cut out. that’s pretty much how to count calories! to lose weight you might want to eat around 1500-2000 calories per day if you don’t know how many calories are in a food try this website:

it will let you search through to find foods and the calories in them. eating low calorie meals with LOTS of exercise will help you lose weight! aerobic exercise such as running, swimming, biking, or gymnastics is a great way to loose weight as well! good luck to you!
remember: to lose weight you need to have a good diet AND exercise program having only one will not do you as much good as having both!
this is a very easy diet to follow! as long as you stick to it! and don’t give up!

You should be gaining or losing a max of 3 (actually 2 but I’ll up it a little) pounds per week..the rest would just be water weight and would be really unhealthy.

Very. You will be guaranteed to gain all the weight back faster than if you lost just five pounds in 2 weeks. Its better to take your time and lose Weight the healthy way.

You know when I first started dieting I thought the same exact thing. I was figuring that I would lose maybe one to two pounds per week, but honestly as soon as I started eating healthier and cutting soda from my diet the pounds started melting away. Its been about two weeks and I have lost thirteen pounds. I don’t know why it all came off that quickly, I used to eat a lot of fast food and now I started making healthier meals from home, drank a ton of soda and now I only drink water. But naturally you can’t diet all the time so I still eat a regular meal here and there just to help me stay focused. But I suppose if your body feels the need to go at that speed of weight loss then it will right lol? I am guessing its just however your body responds will effect the amount of weight you lose.

Try 5 weeks. That’s a more reasonable goal. If you work your butt off every day and burn like 15,000 calories and you already started and had 2 weeks before of exercise.
