How long does it take to lose 15 pounds of fat?

I want to lose 15 pounds before I pick up my bridesmaids dress in August. I have roughly 8 weeks before that time. Is 15 pounds a realistic goal or too much? Do you think it’s possible in that time?

you can lose that in 6-8 weeks
providing u train aggresively for it

that means cardio exercise 5 days a week.. 30-45 mins
weight training 3-4 times a week for 45-60 mins
and healthy eating….. less carbs more proteins

What is the fastest, safest, and healthiest way to lose 15 pounds over summer vacation?
***I’m a semi-pescatarian; I eat meat on special occasions which are maybe once or twice a month, and I have begun this month to cut down on seafood too. I eat no meat at all one day week. Other days I will eat seafood.

changing your diet to only healthy foods is the best thing you can do and will ensure you will lose weight if combine with walking everyday especially.

you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains (Asian basmati or jasmine rice gives lots of energy and can be found at your local oriental/asian market or some super markets), & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.

(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer and a rice cooker ((Both Very cheap)) .which, used together make it very easy to prepare very nutritional, healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil , diced garlic, pepper, sliced lemon and spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)

I wanted to lose 15 pounds in around 1 1/2 months to 2 months is that a good goal to try? Is it to much to little, or is it possibly? Any adcive, help, or anything would be a great help. Thank you.

you can lose a good 2 pounds of solid fat in a week given your lifting weights not necessarily heavy …doing good amounts of cardio ….and eating good clean food 5-6 times a day …any more than 2 pounds of week is muscle and water weight but 2 months is probably a better amount of time ..but 3-4 months if you can’t exactly handle high intensity but remember screw the scale and go with the mirror !! and how you personally feel about yourself :)

I am 14 years old, 5 foot in height, and weigh 135 pounds. In one month on the last day of school everyone wears dresses. I don’t want to be known as the chubby girl in a dress. What is the best way to lose 15 pounds in 30 days!? I need help!!!!

At 135 pounds and 5 feet tall, your body needs 1335 calories per day just to keep that weight. That’s about 40,050 calories per month.

(For reference, 1 pound = 3,500 calories.)

To lose even 10 pounds, you would need to lose 35,000 calories in that month, or 1,116 calories per day– almost as much as your base-line calorie intake! Even if you dieted and exercised a ton, this would be dangerous and unrealistic. You’d have to only eat about 800-900 calories and burn off 200-300 every single day to get rid of those ten pounds. 900 calories might make two smallish meals– and that’s not good for your body, especially while growing (you’re only 14) and exercising. If you tried it, your body would enter starvation mode, forcing you to keep the weight on.

I suggest forgetting about the end of school goal and focus on looking fabulous for the start of school next year. And forget about 15 pounds– losing too much weight will hurt your bones and possibly even stop you from growing or getting your period on time. Try for 8-10, but don’t push it.

To lose 9 pounds in a few months, eat 150 fewer calories per day and jog for 20 minutes or so at least 3 times a week.

How do you lose 15 pounds with little changes?

I was wondering if you had any advice for me on losing 15 pounds and keeping it off or with little tweeks . I would like to lose it within 1-2 months :)
I excersize but will excersize more lol

I do not know if you are a soda drinker, but if you COMPLETELY cut soda out of your diet and drink only water. I promise you will lose weight like crazy. Your nails, hair and skin will glow as well. All of the water flushes out toxins and fat. My boyfriend did this and lost 10 lbs in a month. Hope this helps!

How to lose about 15 pounds in 2 months?

I’m 13 and I am 4’10 and 96 pounds and I want to be 80, my doctor told me 80 is perfect. I don’t want my mom to know I’m trying to lose weight but she knows I’m trying to eat healthy. My friend is 10 pounds over weight so we want to lose it together. Please don’t say I’m too young, I’m not going to starve myself but I want to lose this. Any meal plans, advice, and ideas on how to lose 15 pounds?

There’s tons of ways to lose weight if you want it enough.

I’d recommend running for 20 minutes a day with your friend and eat a little less and a little healthier.
Stay away from junk food and fast food. Eat lean meats, lots of veggies, beans, nuts, whole-grain carbs, that kind of stuff.

Also, don’t measure you’re success by standing on a scale. Do it by looking in the mirror or measuring your waste, because if you diet and exercise, you put on muscle and lose fat. (it’s probably different for girls, but I went down 3 belt sizes and only lost a pound or two.)

Good luck. You are too young to really get nit-picky about weight. Remember that you’re growing, an in the next few years, you’re healthy weight is gonna be about 35 pounds heavier. Just live a healthy lifestyle and stay in moderation.

What is the fastest way to lose 15 pounds?

I’m an 18 year old female and weigh 133 I want to lose 15 pounds by June. I’m also at the gym every single day and eat really healthy. I don’t eat candy/soda/fast food, any of that junk. Please help. I’m starting Quicktrim tomorrow, to see what it does. Any suggestions?

Since you’re in the gym every day, start skipping a few days. Your body might have gotten use to working out every day. Change up your workout routine too.

Drink lots of cold water and have a cup of green tea in the morning. These two things will help with your metabolism.

The title says it all, I need to lose around 15 pounds, it’s not that I’m fat but I’m chubby and I need to get fit for the beaaaaaaaaaaaach. Anways, any good workout routines and/or healthy diets?

Those people below aren’t specific. "Less carbs, more water."? Whatever.

I just say, change 5 things in what you eat. Consider what you should cut down. Like, if you love chips, cut 1/2 of it.
Just cut, cut, and add something healthy. Like randomly grab a carrot or grab that rotting banana (nah just kidding).
But you get what I mean? You don’t have to become a health freak. Just live and relax.

Alright… My grad is coming soon. I need to lose probably 30 pounds, but 15 will be good. I would like to lose weight by eating healthier & less as well as excersizing…
Is it possible to lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks just from excersizing and eating healthy?? How much excersizing would I have to do?
Any tips?
